Connected direct to cable (no Box) excellent reception and pratically no lag time when changing channels. Brilliant color you expect from Viewsonic. Pus I can use it as a computer monitor if needed.

This is a great little unit at a great price. I use an antenna and recently watched a PBS nature program in stunning detail - I get something like 10 HD channels in Toronto using a $40 antenna. The sound quality is pretty limp but I use a mixer and run the sound to an alternate player so this is irrelevant for me - a definite winner.

Great all-around unit that is best suited for TV viewing rather for use as a PC monitor. I do, however, also use it for my computer (VGA Input) and the picture was a little hot for the first 30-60 days but it seems to have calmed down. Either that, or I've gotten used to it.

Shipping was prompt my set is hooked up and I am enjoying every minute of viewing!!!!!!!!!!!So much better than previous set.

I use this set in my RV with a 135 watt converter. We run off solar and since it draws only 45 watts it is perfect for that situation. Easy setup and auto scanning made station selection a breeze. Picture is very good. Sound is a little tinny, but adequate for our purposes. A great buy. Don't buy a smaller set. This one is perfect as a second set or if it is used like we do

The highs: can't beat the bang for the buck, crystal clear HD with indoor antenna, very nice with DVD too, all the major connection types. Thin & lightweight. The lows: slight aspect-ratio distortion on some HD channels, (most folks probably won't notice). Lip-sync is off, my DVD player lets me correct for that, no remedy on this TV. Base doesn't pan/tilt (but alot of folks will wall-mount this anyway). Nutshell: This model is great for a kitchen, workshop, guest room - anywhere you need a compact HDTV for small $$$. I wouldn't build a home theatre around it tho'
