I bought this product at a great price (if I get the rebate) and it has been wonderful after a month. My only complaint is that it is too low to the desk. I know a height adjustable monitor would cost much more, but I wish the stand was about 2 inches higher.

This is a very nice monitor with full HD resolution. This is not the monitor if you are looking for the one with built in audio speakers. No HDMI either.

it is good for its price. even though i still did use its high resolution yet, but i am sure it will be fine. remember, it is a wide screen!!! Different from the regular size

I have always had good luck with veiwsonic monitors and this one is no exception. Great clarity in the screen, no blurring, easy to use. I did not try the speakers because, who cares, speakers are pointless on a monitor.

I bought this monitor inorder to setup a dual system and the picture is definitelhy better than a monitor I bought a year ago. It met my expectations. The rebate was an added feature.

I like the monitor, but it has a few features I can't stand: a) Blue power LED is way too bright. No, I'm not watching TV in a darkened room. The room has normal lighting and the blue LED is distracting. b) Power button goes in the lower right. Apparently viewsonic didn't get the memo. c) Speakers are bad. My need for sound quality is pretty low, but I still needed to put my speakers back on the desk. I recently bought another monitor (another manufacturer) and those speakers were adequate.

This monitor is everything I expected and more. It shipped in perfect condition and there are no dead pixels. The image is crisp and bright, but the settings allow you to adjust everything to your own preferences. I only wish it included a HDMI port.

No dead pixels, great picture, and a 40.00 rebate makes it an outstanding value to me. For the average person this monitor will meet or exceed your needs. Now a hard core gamer might require more performance or features but that will cost you more, possibly much more. My blue ray movies are fantastic on this monitor.

Picture quality and color performance are acceptable, though unexceptional, and the screen is a tad dim. The monitor's power supply (or maybe some other part) emits an audible buzz when the brightness is lowered below the highest settings. The blue power LED is incredibly bright and distracting; it's brighter than the screen itself. I'm thinking of slapping some electrical tape over it, but that's something that never should have made it through testing. It comes with a VGA cable, which I don't understand. This is 2010; is anyone still using VGA cards? The on-screen-display has very limited options, and the key setup is counter-intuitive. The exception is that switching between inputs is quick and easy. I did not test the speakers. The price is what made this monitor worth buying. There are much better monitors if you'll be paying full price, but on sale it's hard to beat if you're in the market for a low-end monitor.
