I bought this monitor for my husband. We were celebrating our 40th anniversary. I knew he had been talking about getting a larger monitor. This seemed to fit the bill. He really loves it.

I'm using this as a second montor and it works great. Great picture great performance. Took it out of the box pluged it in and hooked it up. Worked fine out of the box.

I've used many Viewsonics over the years so I took a chance on this one. I usually want to see a monitor before I buy it. $40 rebate helped. Nothing fancy, just a quality LCD with a good picture. Fine for games.

Good picture (haven't used the sound), good price, fast delivery before Christmas. Only complaint is that I bought two on the same purchase and found out after delivery that the $40 rebate was limited to one per household. I should have got a heads-up on that. $40 lesson, but got two gifts on time.

I bought this monitor to replace a smaller monitor. I have great experience with other monitors and projectors from this company. This was priced very competitively and delivers just what I expected. I never would use the speakers on a monitor. I have my own separately powered speakers, this is a monitor not a TV.

Great price, fantastic picture quality - but crappy audio. The built-in speakers are horrendous - definitely not a feature I would promote in this product. In retrospect, I would have paid the same price for this monitor even without the built-in speakers - there is still value for what you pay.

With Bing and $40 rebate, this was less than $130. Hard to beat for a very nice 23 inch Viewsonic monitor. I've always gotten good quality from Viewsonic monitors - my 3rd one.

Works well so far as a 2nd monitor for business productivity. Display quality is fine out of the box...have not messed with the settings much. Being able to run 1920x1080 resolution is a real treat. Paid $180 minus $40 rebate minus cash back. Great value. Monitor looks nice. Would be great if it was height adjustable, but at the price paid I don't mind at all.

I decided it was time to upgrade from my old huge ViewSonic CRT and I was very happy with my purchase. The setup was easy and the display is very sharp. I don't think there's anything that can match this display in this price range.

Was looking for quite some time and settlted on the View Sonic mainly from past experience. Had an older View Sonic CRT that was fading and they replaced it near the end of the warranty period. I also looked at other reviews and found it very popular. Since this is not a gaming box, the speed was not the draw; but as an older user the clarity and size was. Working with spreadsheets and such on this monitor is wonderful!

I don't have any negatives. The screen is great. The speakers leave much to be desired but who doesn't have external speakers, it was just a little bonus for me. Price puts it way over the top. Another great deal from TD!!

i'm loving my viewsonic this is my 3rd one i won't buy any other monitor but viewsonic always crisp color, watching movies are life like now with this 23' i'm in pc bliss can't wait to turn it on in the morning. never had to replace any of my viewsonics due to problems always got a bigger and better model you can't go wrong treat yourself to pc bliss you haven't viewed the net until you see it through a viewsonic hey new slogan for sales :)

Worked great out of the box! Came up at the resolution of my old monitor, warned me, and tolerated my fumbling around trying to get the correct resolution. Brightness was way up, but easily adjusted. In fact it's the only thing I changed. No dead or stuck pixels. Best monitor I've seen at this size at the $139.00 price point.

I purchased this monitor to replace an old CRT monitor with external speakers. Although this one has speakers, your room better be quiet to hear anything from it. I also noticed that with 1920 X 1080 the screen was crisp yet much smaller. Why have a nice 23inch monitor if you have to cozy up to it to see anything on it. When I contacted customer service,they offered little suggestions or assistance. I ended up running a much lower resolution so I didn't have to sit on the screen (or wear glasses) to read it. As for the sound issues,I was told to get external speakers. Why have speakers in this unit at all?

I have been the the PC business since the beginng and yes I am that old.lol. VS has always been at the top of the PC monitor world, this model lives up to it's name. I read the other reviews posted above and as to the lack of a HDMI input.Why do you need one? Think people, the only difference in DVI and HDMI is that HDMI can also carry the digital audio in the same cable, but, now just what would you do with it on this monitor? Who in the world is going to try and listen to any serious sound on a monitor? HDMI on it would be total waste, cost would be more.Unless you just like to pay more for something that you will never use and if you are complaining over this, then it seems you are into quality video and audio, so you would listen to 2 or 3 inch speakers in a monitor, if so, then I bet you still have that portable AM radio to carry around. As for service from VS, I have never had an issue at all with them, in fact have found them to be one of the better ones.
