Great little keyboard. I got this to go with my Zotac mini-pc that i use as a media server and it just in case i need to use the actuall operating system instead of having a full keyboard and mouse lying around the living room. Will edit later once i try it out.

Great wireless controller for a media PC, used mainly for queuing up shows on the couch. The only problem I have with it is that when plugging the USB dongle into a rear USB port, it seems to interfere with the keyboard's performance. The mousepad isn't as responsive at about 10 feet away. The function keys that govern volume up/down, play/pause, forward/backward etc dont always work.Still it's got arrow keys and an enter button, which is all that's required to start up videos in XBMC.The built-in laser is ALOT of fun, cats love it.

I've been looking for a good keyboard/touchpad combo for awhile. When I saw this on sale for $50 and all the positive reviews I decided to give it a go. I don't think it's worth the regular price of $70. I would definitely recommend this to some one wanting a good way to control thier HTPC.I'm very happy with the purchase.

Overall this thing is great for a HTPC but the price is a bit high in my opinion. I picked it up on sale but don't get me wrong, it's pretty decent! I find the touchpad isn't as sensitive as you would find with one on a laptop to be, but it works.

I got this after getting a regular wireless keyboard and mouse.Made a world of difference, only one thing to keep track of, smaller, and it has the integrated touchpad for a mouse.Would definitely recommend

I needed a keyboard+mouse for my HTPC. After reading many reviews, I decided to go with this one. Dont regret my decision at all. This little board does the job well. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a keyboard and mouse solution for their HTPC.

I took a gamble on this and was more than surprised at the build quality and performance. Works great in my HTPC - the small remote allows you to quickly enter text (e.g. YouTube searches) without using the clunk on-screen keyboard. The sale price made it an even better purchase!

I had the bluetooth version of this keyboard and just returned that one today to buy this.Although theoretically, the bluetooth makes more sense, that one would intermittently freeze. (documented on the internet).This one works fine, wakes up quickly from sleep and is exactly what I was looking for.Buy the NON-bluetooth one for your HTPC>

I bought this on sale as a replacement for a larger wireless keyboard (nMedia). I just wanted to try something a bit more compact.The box was surprisingly small (and sturdy). The only items inside were the candyboard, a 'special' USB extension cable (includes one mini-USB prong to charge the candyboard and one standard USB extension) and a small instruction booklet.The integrated (and miniature) design of the receiver was an added bonus. It tucks away inside the keyboard when not in use. When installed in a USB port, it is barely visible.This was a great way to prank one of my co-workers...I popped the receiver in a USB port and waited for him to use his PC. From about 15-20' away, I had full control of his computer.Typing isn't too terrible either. The buttons have a raised texture and are easy to press (with a nice tactile feedback 'click'). I'm typing on it right now.Dragging the mouse pointer is definitely a weak spot. It's a bit awkward to hold the mouse button and accurately adjust the touchpad. The touchpad is also quite small, so you may want to adjust mouse sensitivity via software. Worked fine on XP and Win7.Laser pointer is a bit on the weak side compared to the other pointers I own. Overall, I'm very pleased with this product.

I bought it to pair it with my HTPC (XBMC) system. I am more than happy with my purchase. It really works as advertised. Backlit is bright enough to use in a dark room. I am using it within 10 feet range and never had any trouble in keep presses. But I noticed lag (need to press twice or so) if I increase the distance between the receiver and the keyboard (~12+ feet). Since my operating distance is < 10 feet, this is not a major issue for me. I wish it had one more vertical row of keys with exclusive multimedia buttons. If it had, it would be a 100% perfect fit HTPC systems.

I haven't had to charge mine since forever.Perfect for controlling HTPCs all functionality from a distance.The metal shroud around the USB connector got stuck in the usb port.

This is perfect for my HTPC.It works from the couch halfway across our living room, I've never had to recharge it in the months I've used it. Turn it on, start tv show, ship intro sequence, and kill the video at the end of the show, turning it off with the flick of a switch when I'm not using it.I don't need it to do much more than that, and it makes doing that ridiculously easy.The touchpad isn't amazing, but on such a small and cheap product, it's a lot better than I expected. It's reasonably accurate, but the size makes it a bit clumsy moving the cursor across the entire tv screen. The touch to click is iffy, and so I've gotten used to using the buttons to click instead.The keys are easy to press and not too hard to avoid typos on the closely spaced keyboard. You do need to look at it all the time though to see what keys you're pressing, or to figure out how to do a weird key combinations like "function-enter" to trigger a ctrl-alt-del.Highly recommended, it's amazing for the price (on sale) and is a {deity}send for my HTPC. No more do I need to haul out the wireless mouse and find a surface to do anything on the HTPC. Now it's all in my hands!

I have this and a Logitech Dinovo Mini and for a fraction of the cost it does most of what the Logitech does. A few minor annoyances besides the missing "F" keys. The backlight needs to be manually turned-on with one of the keyboard buttons. Also, the device goes into sleep mode and can not be waken with the touchpad, so need to press any key instead.

Just received this yesterday and it worked right out of the box. no headaches...perfect for my HTPC. the only issue i came across is the fact that you cant use your thumb to navigate the touchpad, which is no a deal breaker but it would have been nice if it worked well with the thumb. Also you must turn up the mouse speed to max.

Just saw that they have a bluetooth model [link below] which looks identical to this one and might have picked that one up instead had I noticed it sooner. I got this gadget because it looked neat, not because I really needed it. But if it is what your needing, then it has some neat aspects.First, its a "lot" smaller than the picture would imply. The keypad is about 5" diagonal across, and the touchpad is probably 2" diag at best. You can't adjust the touchpad sensitivity independent of your main mouse, which is annoying as its very slow by default. The keypad is small but usable in a text-phone kinda way. Range is about 15 ft in my experience. Includes a laser pointer to torture the cat with also.I'm tempted to use this on my tech bench as an addition to my KVM. But main uses probably will lean to HTPC and console use.Price is reasonable, considering build quality.Website product page is downright awful with wrong product info and no additional software or user guides.
