This system functions flawlessly -- the sound is nice and clear, and I've had no complaints from people on the other end. The speakerphone sounds great, as well. The phone itself is attractive, being sleek and thin. One potential downside is that if you erase a call log (caller ID) on one phone, it's erased on all phones. Same goes for adding numbers to the directory -- all phones function as one. We don't mind that, but I suppose someone with a teenager or something might be bothered by it. One other potential downside is that only the base unit has a flashing light to indicate a waiting voicemail (we have phone company-provided voicemail). The other units just display a little envelope with VM on it, so you have to look closely to know if there's a message. Other than those two little potential downsides (that's why I gave it a 4 for features), this is a great system.
