Pros:Lots of functionality, included some additional programs for photo editing Comment:
I bought this for my sister who is in architecture. She has used it and likes it for some of the artistic drawings they are required to create. It's not the Intuos, but for the price range it seems to provide quality. |
This is a great product, and if you don't spend all day long at work messing with the tablet, then is more than enough for even professionals to use. The price point is so much better than the Intuos line that you should think hard about this one before laying out the big bucks for one of those.I think the design was inspired by the macbook air or something, because it's very thin, fades to a thinner edge, and yet still feels very solid. The decently sized surface area is great for drawing, and doubles as a giant trackpad for your fingers, great for browsing or flipping through folders and photos. The software integrates well into the system, on the Mac at least. Haven't run it on the Win7 or Ubuntu machines yet. Photoshop and Illustrator love this tablet. The penholder is great, the programmable buttons feel pretty good, and there's a LED that switches colour to tell you whether it's sensing a pen or a finger. All in all, very impressive.
