We purchased this unit because we had a spare RS232 interface on the PC. After installing it and following instructions on how to activate the RS232 interface on the base, we still couldn't get it to operate. We contacted WASP support and they said that we need a different base and cable to get it to work. I still don't understand why we would need something different when we have the interface on the PC and the base. |
Recently a client got this product from somewhere. (I don't know if it is from here)If you like to get your IT staff some work out, this one would be a good try. CD comes in the box is 4 years old manual, no details in RS 232 port setting. Got their support to send me the link... still waiting about 15 minuets now. Maybe other interface (bluetooth)would be less pain than this one to set it up. The rating is not accurate since I have not really used this device yet.
