Pros:Very nice purple colour (under normal light). Should last for about 10 fills of your loop. Comment:
When I put this under UV light it turned an ugly yellow colour but I'm guessing it's because it's reacting with the iodine I used in the water as an algicide. I will assume that if I didn't have iodine in the loop it woyuld glow purple under UV. I can't blame this product for that problem though so it gets a 4 of 5. |
I used this in a plastic Invisible Man model with Uv led's under for illumination. This really gets a good luminescence to it when lit properly. I think the plastic on the project should have been thinner and I would get a better effect. All in all it gets some pretty cool effects going. A bit tricky to play around with the concentration for the best effect but they give you enough so this should be o.k. for a while less is more it seems. Would buy again.I will try some other colors. Hard to find purple anywhere else .
