WD has exceptional consumer service. I installed the drive and was installing Windows when the power went out for a couple of seconds. The drive would not function after that and my computer would not even recognize it. I known as WD's 800 number for customer service. Within a minute I was talking to a tech who directed me how to download and use their drive utilities. The utility completely fixed the challenge and the drive is now up and operating.
