Western Digital Scorpio Blue 2.5IN 160GB 5400RPM 8MB SATA Hard Drive
Cons:The arm is a little loud so you can hear it clicking away.
Pros:Fast affordable little drive. Good trusted brand. Comment:
Great buy. Use these drives to replace older failed ones and they work like a charm. Never had compatibility issues, haven't had one break yet. They are a little noisier then a seagate or hitachi but unless you're super picky I wouldn't worry about it. |

Western Digital Scorpio Blue 2.5IN 160GB 5400RPM 8MB SATA Hard Drive
Cons:
still expensive, $38.. you'd think the price would've dropped over the years..this one has been hovering around the same price
Pros: SmallQuietEasy to install, instantly detected on my netbook Comment:
The hard drive was as fast or maybe faster than the previous HDD that broke down. It was easily installed and detected a Samsung NC10 netbook. It also runs quiet. |

Western Digital Scorpio Blue 2.5IN 160GB 5400RPM 8MB SATA Hard Drive
Cons:
- Died after a couple months
Pros: - Runs quiet- Quite speedy Comment:
Got this to replace a dying drive. Seemingly quiet and very quick for what I needed it to do. However, it died within a couple months, most likely from user error. Would definitely recommend though |

Western Digital Scorpio Blue 2.5IN 160GB 5400RPM 8MB SATA Hard Drive
Cons:
None
Pros: QuietFastInexpensive Comment:
Very quiet especially during seek - no "loading" noise. It does make a faint click sound once in a while when idling. This is normal for laptop drives though.Transfer speeds are pretty fast as well. Great upgrade for older laptops or when you don't need tons of space, want to save power, and have less noise. |

Western Digital Scorpio Blue 2.5IN 160GB 5400RPM 8MB SATA Hard Drive
Cons:Rien à signaler.
Pros:Pas cher en pricematch.Manufacturier fiable.Ne chauffe pas beaucoup. Comment:

Western Digital Scorpio Blue 2.5IN 160GB 5400RPM 8MB SATA Hard Drive
Cons:Writes are a tad slow.
Pros:Load times are very fast, Extremely quiet! Comment:
Running as Primary in a Windows 7 system loads to desktop on startup in 17 seconds. Extreme reads but the writes are a tad slow. winoptimizer writing 7 overwrites to recycle bin can take up to 20 min on many small files approx .5GB total. But loading booting are a blast. Very Good drive! |

Western Digital Scorpio Blue 2.5IN 160GB 5400RPM 8MB SATA Hard Drive
Cons:Not as fast as a Scorpio Black, but I didn't pay for a Scorpio Black either!
Pros:Good balance of price, speed, and power consumption Comment:
This drive may not be a Scorpio Black, but for most notebook applications, it's plenty fast enough. Access times, transfer rates, and bootup times are much faster than my 1-year-old Seagate Momentus. |
plugged this hard drive into my nieces 2006 macbook and everything came up roses
