I installed two of these into my Sony Vaio tonight. My computer had 512MB of Ram, so adding 2GB really boosted my speed. My computer boots and hibernates faster, programs open faster, and nothing has locked up yet. They were easy to insert, and my computer recognized them right away. They are currently sold out, but I hope more come in, because I want to max out my computer.

I have an HP Pavilion a750e, a 2004 computer which had 500 MB memory. Although that was probably enough (I don't play games or run big programs) I wanted to pamper my faithful computer and bought it this memory. It was not too difficult to put in although it required more force than one would think prudent for such a thin object. My system knows now that 1500 MB of memory is available but it is hard to notice a difference. I am old enough to remember when I felt like a spendthrift for buying 3 MB of extra memory for my Macintosh Plus, so I gave 5 stars for value, but I have really no basis to rate quality, features and performance. I guess 5 is a proper rating for them but of course I won't know for years, if ever, whether the memory chip will last as long as the rest of the computer.

My computer was super slow because it was customized by dell over 4 years ago. I always thought there was a virus destroying my computer because of the slowness of it. I checked the RAM out and it only had 256mb of speed. I immediately ordered more RAM and this fit the bill. It made my computer way faster than what it was. Its works real good. It needs more RAM still, so i will definitely order another one very soon.

Memory works Great but the packaging does not have the bar code like the picture shows, without the bar code there is NO REBATE

Removed the 512 Mbs that came with our computer and Installed 3-1Gbs ram running with a Pentium IV CPU and Windows XP Pro. Speed returned and this is a good setup for surfing.

After booting my PC I had time to make a cup of coffee before I got on the internet. After replacing the old memory I have to pass on the coffee. And it was easy to install. Just be careful to note which side the chips are on since it only goes into the slot one way.
