I bought one of these for a linux machine I built out of spare parts. I has an old 500 W noise take PSU that was 4 pin to use with a Gigabyte GA_MA770UD3 board. Plugged it in and it worked fine. The wire was longer than I expected as well which was great. Good build quality. |

I needed to pick this up for a Enermax Noisetaker 485W PSU. The mobo thats gonna be used need an 8pin (4pin can be used). As the CPU will be OC.Got this for $4, good deal. |
I needed a 4pin to 8 pin connector for my motherboard for my HTPC. with the added length from the extension i was able to do better cable management in my InWin matx case.
