XFX Core Edition PRO550W (P1-550S-XXB9) 550W Power Supply
Cons:Non-modularNo fan monitoring headerPictures don't match actual unit (as others have noted)
Pros:QuietReliable Comment:
Not much to complain about this unit. It is pretty quiet overall and powers up a modest system with a older i7-860 and R260 card. It has proven to be very stable even during an extreme heat spell we have had lately (ambient temps - 35 degrees). There are cheaper units at this wattage rating but they won't have the reliability that this unit can provide. Also the current pictures does not match what is actually shipped as others have noted. There is another similar unit that is Gold rated versus the Bronze of this PSU, but is costs a bit more. |

XFX Core Edition PRO550W (P1-550S-XXB9) 550W Power Supply
Cons:Not modular
Pros:Quality, decently quiet. Comment:
This is a Seasonic rebranded PS which means it is good quality. Not modular, and priced higher than comparable power supplies at this wattage, but definitely worth it for a system that's running 24/7 for a few years. Hate MIR's, but process was easy. |

XFX Core Edition PRO550W (P1-550S-XXB9) 550W Power Supply
Cons:None
Pros:QuietGood power ratings Comment:
Got this PSU for an older build with:Intel Q6600Radeon HD4850Gigabyte P45-UD3RAData 128GB SSDIt runs almost silent whilst in idle or playing movies. Currently using this as an HTPC, so not much testing with load. However, the amperage ratings look good with 44A on the 12v rail. If this is to be trusted (which online research suggests), this is even slightly higher than the Corsair VX550 that I'm running on my gaming rig. Good quality overall for a $55 PSU. |

XFX Core Edition PRO550W (P1-550S-XXB9) 550W Power Supply
Cons:Cable lengths are long...
Pros:Quality, Warranty Comment:
So far I'm loving this purchase. Read up on it being a Seasonic manufactured PSU and I registered it to get the full warranty. The rebate form is quick and easy to fill out online but you have to mail it to get the prepaid credit card as usual. It seems super quiet compared to some of my old units. A couple of little quirks, the unit you get is the TS550 which is fine as it's the same spec, Bronze rated. The warranty is non-transferable. To see the specs sticker you need to pull the PSU as it's on the top of the PSU and not the side. |

XFX Core Edition PRO550W (P1-550S-XXB9) 550W Power Supply
Cons:none
Pros:Work as advertised, quiet Comment:
Broke my previous budget PSU and decided to get one better branded and built. Apparently this unit is built by Seasonic which has a good reputation for high quality PSU. Its quiet even under gaming load. Powers my O/C'd FX-6300 / M5A97 / R7 250 with much to spare. The cables are wrapped and long enough to be routed behind the case. Lots of connectors, too many for me, but others might need it.Great buy and recommended!! |

XFX Core Edition PRO550W (P1-550S-XXB9) 550W Power Supply
Cons:Some people might struggle with cable management since it's full wired.
Pros:Very reliable yet at a very affordable price. This power supply is manufactured with the best quality by Seasonic. Comment:
This is a high quality power supply, no doubt about it. Reason why I gave it 2 stars is because I received the XFX TS 550W, it seems it is sold under the name of the XFX Core Edition. Both are quite the same, I did not returned it because it served it's porpuse quite right but BEWARE! you might not get the XFX Core Edition, but the XFX TS 550W. |

XFX Core Edition PRO550W (P1-550S-XXB9) 550W Power Supply
Cons:sleeving not the best, received a TS550 instead of a Pro550W
Pros:Small clean design. Sufficient cable length all sleeved. Quiet fan Comment:
The power supply proved to be quiet at moderate to medium loads. At higher loads, the fan tends to get noisy. The product description is for an XFX Pro550W (#P1550SXXB9). The product that arrived is a TS550. Looking at the specs of the TS550 (#P1550GTS3X) it is gold certified. This one however has a bronze certified label on the PSU housing. The carton and the PSU housing is for TS series. The actual product specs and the SKU/UPC is for the Pro550. A couple of weird things with the cabling:(These issues do not affect the functionality of the PSU)1 X 6+2 pin plus 1 X 6-pin pcie connector for the video card(The six pin is labeled pcie but the 6+2 has no label).2 sets of EPS12V cable. One is a single 8-pin and the other is a split 4+4 pin.3 sets of cables with 3 sata power connectors each (for a total of 9 sata devices). The two cables are of equal length, the 3rd cable is about 6 inches shorter.Using OCCT 4 for an extended PSU test, the power supply worked without any issues even when stress tested continously for about 2 hours. This PSU will be powering a system that draws less than 50% of its rated 528W +12V output x max CPU and GPU so I'm not expecting any major longevity issues. |

XFX Core Edition PRO550W (P1-550S-XXB9) 550W Power Supply
Cons:cable management can be a messtwo molex leads, one is enough
Pros:stablereliablequiet Comment:
Bought this for a budget build. Good quality PSU that's stable, reliable, and also quiet. Downside with non-modular PSUs, it creates a mess of cables in the case. It comes with two 4-pin molex leads with 3 connectors each which is overkill. Not very many things require molex anymore. |

Also have the 650W one(2 Years and still running strong)and this one is smaller at 5.5 inches long vs 7in so it will work good in small cases. |

Cons:Câbles rigides.
Pros:Bon prix lorsqu'en solde à 57.99$.Bonne marque.Bon manufacturier (Seasonic).Ventilateur très silencieux.80Plus Bronze. Comment:

XFX Core Edition PRO550W (P1-550S-XXB9) 550W Power Supply
Cons:- Single fan
Pros:- Price was good- For the most part sleeved- Quiet Comment:
Got this to replace an Antec TP2 550W that died. So far hasn't given me any troubles. The sleeves really help, but ideally it would've been nice to have completely sleeved cables or maybe even modular. For the price though this was the cheapest 550W I could find that wasn't from a suspect company. I wish there were 2 fans though, like my older PSU, but haven't had issues with it yet. |

XFX Core Edition PRO550W (P1-550S-XXB9) 550W Power Supply
Cons:Didn't come with a power cable. :(
Pros:Sleeved cablesLow noiseGood build quality. Everything feels solid and premium. Comment:
I have no complaints about the XFX 550 Pro. Everything feels solid, and the cables were very well protected. The wires felt a little stiff, but that's to be expected. The only fault was that it was missing the power cable. This is a serious problem because it makes a good product unusable. It's supposed to be included in the box, so someone must have been sleepy on the job. I had a spare cable, and PSU is working very well. |

XFX Core Edition PRO550W (P1-550S-XXB9) 550W Power Supply
Cons:Cables seem just a tad short.
Pros:Good reliable company Lots of connectorsExcellent price pointQuietCbales well sleeved Comment:
Bought this to power a buddies budget rig, yet leave some room for futire expansion/improvement. Overall impressed with the unit except for one thing. This went into an HAF 912, which isn't an over large case, and yet the 8 pin just barely went behind the motherboard for plug in. In a larger case this would not have been possible. Minus 1 point for that. Otherwise excellent. |
