XFX GeForce GT 240 GT240XYHFC Video Card
Cons:

Pros: Works good on most games Comment:
The GT 240 is a lower budget graphic card, it works good on lower settings games, and perfectly matches with Windows 7. |

XFX GeForce GT 240 GT240XYHFC Video Card
Cons:
It's not the best, can't provide you with crazy fps but enough to get by.
Pros: Great for playing freebie games such as League of Legends, GunZ or Combat Arms.Overall I say this video card works well with almost every game. Decent graphics card for the regular gamer. Comment:
I've used it for about half a week to half a month now. I like it because it uses low power, about 350W minimum and doesn't require the 6pin or 8pin connecting directly to the card. This is great for a quality and brand name. |

XFX GeForce GT 240 GT240XYHFC Video Card
Cons:
Older drivers were conflicting with my on board sound card/bios, turning it off. Newest drivers solved it.
Pros: Cool running, quiet, low power requirements, speed for the price. Comment:
I purchased this at $89 less $30 MIR. With free software, Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (In Box) and StreetFighter 4/ Power Director 8 HE (Video Editing) downloads.Very happy with it so far. This card is a good option for anyone, like myself, who wants to upgrade an older system's gaming performance, but not replace the stock PSU. Sure there are faster, low power consumption, cards for $20-$40 more, but will you see an appreciable gain in performance if your system is the weakest link (bottleneck)? Also a good option for those who want a low cost gaming/htpc option, and don't need cutting edge gaming performance. These cards fit between some other decent options. It's a little faster than the 4670/5570 and a little slower than the 5670. It's about on par with a 9600 GT, and slower than a 9800GT/8800GT all with higher power requirements and older designs, though. If you factor in the software, even under valued at $30, you are getting a great value for $30. If you don't need/want any of those titles a 4670 is still priced well above $60, typically and a 5670 well above $80. XFX's lifetime warranty x 2 doesn't hurt either. XFX GeForce GT 240 GT240XYHFC Video Card
Cons:
Not for your top of the line, hardcore gamer
Pros: Good price for the performanceVery small card, can fit in anything Comment:
I recently bought this card for my gf just to play a few games with me, she plays at 1440x900 and she can run everything quite smoothly which is nice. Just minor games such as counter-strike and older battlefield games and such, but it does the job well and its like 5 inches long or something like that, tiny! |
Bought this mainly to run sc2 with a descent setting (high). My HP has no room for a big video card + psu is only 350w. This gpu is perfect for people who want a quick improvement in gaming without having to worry about changing their powersupply. So far it's running fine and runs SC2 on high, i could run it on ultra but will lag occasionally. Going from a crappy 8500gt to this is a huge improvement.
