I have an earlier review, but newegg jacked the value up from to (์ immediately after MIR) to 贘. This is not worth 120 bucks, could as effectively just get a 5770 for 20 much more bucks or a 5750 for บ less. The only two parts that stand out are the heatsink blowing air onto and over the vram and the piece of metal on the top. I own one particular, I WAS going to use a pair in crossfire but seeing as the cost went up 30 bucks I am not going to be acquiring a heavily overpriced item. If other prices start off to shoot up on XFX products I may well just quit buying as a brand. |

I'm not a enormous gamer. I have a tendency to play really old games like Half Life two or Halo, haha. For what it's worth, it can run these games on the highest of settings.Anyway, it's a major step up from the MSI 5550 I just had, which actually couldn't run Half Life two on the highest settings. As soon as you turned on the flashlight, overlook it...Compared to that card, it's way bigger and actually requires that you plug it into the energy provide.Plays video completely to my Samsung Syncmaster 220WM 22 inch monitor by means of DVI.Doesn't get as well hot in my case, though it does have 5 120mm fans. Nothing so far. No problems with booting or freezing. It comes with the 4 pin Molex to 6 pin adapter you require to use if you have an older energy provide, like I do (Antec TRUE550 from 05 running robust!). Strange that the manual specifically tells you not to use the incorporated adapter, ha. I did even though, as have numerous other people, and it operates perfectly.AMD Phenom X4 9850/GIGABYTE GA-MA780G-UD3HǚGB Kingston HyperX DDR2 1066/Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit |

This card, for the cash is remarkable. I replaced a dead GTX 8600 and the functionality has never been far better. It may well in reality be additional video card than the method it is on wants at this time. ATI/AMD drivers are still a little wonky... -1 Egg. |

First the value definitely, and secondly the functionality. This is just an awesome price tag for a GPU with these specs. Each single game I have thrown at this point runs flawlessly, which includes crysis two on max settings, which was just lately released. For some odd cause, through hdmi the picture has black borders and appears quite grainy. I have heard that this is a challenge with ATI cards and low-cost hdtvs. So maybe a true monitor would resolve the challenge. I'm not really certain even though but its not that huge of a deal, I just use vga. I bought this card for a custom pc I wanted to create and have not had a difficulty due to the fact first installing. I bought this card when it was like about 80 or 90 I can't bear in mind, So a good deal overall. |

Value was superb. I got almost twoǙs off right after discount, promo code and MIR. We'll see how the rebate turns out but it was a great deal either way. Extremely rapid card for it's industry position. Came with 6 pin adapter for my older 480W PSU. Fan is quieter than my CPU fan except when operating 100%. It will spin up to one hundred% briefly for the duration of POST but then is quite quiet. HDMI output is great, passes sound along just fine once updated drivers are installed. Fits nicely in the case (can't use neighboring PCI slot due to HSF but I didn't need to have it anyhow) and the PCB design and style is eye pleasing. 1GB ram helps a lot in newer games and playing at greater resolutions. These I knew before purchase so it doesn't bother me and I won't element it in the rating but in case you don't know... There is no DX11 or Eyefinity (that's all Radeon 5xxx and up). Energy consumption is larger than equivalent 5xxx or 6xxx series. Older model so drivers aren't going to be as "future-proof". I don't like the essential account creation at XFX's web site in order to download drivers. Download by means of ATI (AMD's) internet site rather. I consider I'm CPU bottlenecked now running my old E2160 OCed to 2.4Ghz but that is a plus to this card not a minus. For the price tag I couldn't come across any much better even so at its MSRP I'd undoubtedly get a 5770 or equivalent.I'm not a heavy gamer but what I've run so far on it looks truly good. Mass Impact 2 and Oblivion are gorgeous when turned all the way up at 1920x1080 on a 32" LCD via HDMI. |

This card is not as long as some of the other cards out there. Does not need high wattage PSU to power this point up. Only needs 1 x 6pin plug. Would like to have a complete length cover that would enable on board fan to blow the hot air out the rear of the case. But I bought it knowing that it didn't. So no eggs knocked off for that. Had RX2600XT Diamond 512MB GDDR5 video card prior to this one particular. Quickly brought my 3DMark Vantage GPU scores from 1513 to 7347. |

Superb crossfire card for four series. Shipped in much less then 1 week. Wonderful price tag. no crossfire bridge cable, not sufficient a big deal to knock off an egg :p Read that some of these XfX cards come DOA, not eh case right here, I'd buy an additional XFX product. Anyone not needing dx11 but, this is an great vid card solo and xfire. Even though variations are minimal, Finest to xfire with AMD chips, They need all the assistance they can get, The competition keeps costs down :p Also, don't rely on benchmarks on the World wide web. Finest bang for buck, reliability, and stability, This card was a great choice :-) Thanx Newegg ! |

Good Card, have 2 in crossfire none at all, just stay away from the sapphire equivalent to the assessment under me, you have a black bar at that resolution due to the fact your monitor is 16ᚲ aspect ratio. 1920 is 16ɍ hence the black bar, attempt 1920 and if you can't pick it, add a custom resolution in catalyst handle center. |

Decent graphics for the price (bought this a lengthy time ago, going by existing cost)Runs quite darn coolFantastic seeking cardQuiet fan Massive- on my garbage Foxconn (Dell OEM) MB, it does not Rather match. While this is a rather precise situation, which numerous will not have, I recognize, there will be some other folks who WILL have this similar issue. It even is so massive as to require flattening two of the headers off of my MB. That's just too major. Have run other cards in this exact same space with no difficulties.(P.S. this is in a mid-tower, micro ATX Dell case) For my dollar, at the time of acquire, it was a solid acquire compared to what all else was out there. If you're space-restricted, neglect this card. If you have lots of area, it ought to operate. Take pleasure in! |

Cost. Paid ฿ soon after promo code and MIR. Quite effective even though its roughly 3 year old Tech. Strong little upgrade from an 8800GT. Runs Oblivion really nicely at 1680x1050, 2x AA forced by means of CCC, all other settings at max. Unless you game at a greater resolution, or actually Require DX11 then this is a wonderful card for that price! Fan is a tad loud, not truly distracting, but a bit noticeable. Idle temps proper around 41 in my affordable tiny Rosewill case. This card DOES allow fan speed adjustment by means of MSI Afterburner. I bumped up the profile just a bit, brought gaming temps down from 71 max to about 63 max. No noticeable increase in noise, unless you turn the sound off and your residence is dead silent :DIdle temps proper around 41 in my low-cost little Rosewill case, substantially cooler than the ㅾ degree idle that the 8800GT was placing out. |

Short in length, 1GB memory, fairly quiet. None that I can feel of Nonetheless waiting for my rebate, so time will inform on that.I installed this card in my HTPC. The machine runs an AMD Athlon X2-4850e w) on a Gigabyte 780G motherboard. It is running Windows 7 x64 and XBMC. I was originally using the on-board video via HDMI to a Denon receiver and LG 52" LCD. When the on-board video was sufficient for my use I always wanted an add-in card for an upgrade. My preferred option would have been a Radeon 5770 but for a lower price and greater overall performance I could not beat this 4850. The card is silent when viewing films but I have but to actually push the GPU with gaming to see how loud it would be. Though ventilation is limited in my Antec case, I have not noticed a substantial increase in temps with the new card. |

The card performs effectively and by testing is on par with the video chipset amongst this and other 'brands' using the chipset. Don't obtain with any expectation of gaining a rebate. The rebate never ever came soon after two submissions. One particular of the very best deal I had for the past handful of years, for the price paid immediately after rebate there's absolutely nothing out there that can beat it. Functions superior and performs larger than the EVGA GTS450 that I bought around the same time. (Sold the EVGA and kept this XFX)Also the colors appear much far better on the XFX than on the EVGA. The fan is a bit loud and there's no heat sink on the memory chips. I'm not a fan of ATI video cards but XFX appears to have better QC than other vendors, and this card operates flawlessly so far, highly advised. |

Good card as far as I can tell. Ordered one at a breakaway deal for 20 bucks, then seconded that with a different one particular at 48 for a crossfire setup. The primary pro of this card is its value for performance when it hits that sweet spot in price. Otherwise, I'd shoot for some thing that performs far better. Double Lifetime Warranty is proXFX assistance is fabulous. The package didn't consist of a crossfire cable, so I hit up their support and they got me one particular especially fast. Actually they responded to my inquiry inside 15 minutes. I'm guessing that was luck, but nonetheless, it was beneath 24 hours. Nevertheless puts out as far as GPUs are concerned. In spite of this, I wouldn't propose it depending on the price tag. Appear at the benchmarking to get an thought of exactly where it falls and when it would be feasible to obtain again.Only one particular six pin connector vital. Heatsink appears a small lacking, but nothing at all I'd be overly concerned about unless you have to certainly overclock it. |

This card can run most newer games at decent settings. At extremely high res, you'd be ok with medium settings. At reduce res, you'd be capable to play most games on higher settings. Had a few difficulties with this card... At initial, the monitor would flicker on and off. This wasn't my monitors problem, as it worked fine with my preceding card. Updated the drivers, and that dilemma was fixed. Then came a new problem. When working with the VGA input, it would boot up and display everything, but following about ten-20 minutes, it would out of nowhere drop connection to the monitor and I could not get it to turn back on unless I did a restart. I then switched to using the VGA to DVI adapter, and so far have not had any difficulties. My 1st ATI purchase. I switched from A Geforce 8600 GTS, and was preparing on going with an 8800 gtx, but this card was less costly and after some investigation, located out that it's comparable to the 8800. A bit disappointed with the difficulties that it gave me, but so far am able to run every thing I've tried. |
This HD4850 1gb DDR3 is a incredibly fast video card, and will allow you to game at 1080p ōDMARK05= 20,000 (stock 625뭹mhz)Far Cry 2= 1920x1080 High/Ultra High 2xaa = 50 FPS !Crysis= 1920x1080 High 2xaa = 30 FPS !Idle= 40cLoad= 60cFurmark did make it hit 70c at 100% fan but normal gaming even at 1080p with Crysis by no means gets a lot above 60c !Double lifetime warranty with card registration ! None that I know of, did notice two of the heatsink screws have "void if removed" so no altering the heatsink compound or heatsink with out contacting XFX.No overclocking manage in CCC 11.three, but ATI Tray tools functions great for overclocking and saves the profile for overclocking and fan speeds.Fan manage wants to be adjusted with ATI tray tools or MSI afterburner as CCC offers no control with 11.3. I raised the fan profile to run at 25% all the time and then step up in ten degree increments to one hundred% at 60c.Fan is loud at 100% but puts out a lot of air and does cool the card efficiently, and if your a gamer you normally have a headset on anyway and you never ever hear the fan. I upgraded from a HD4550 512mb DDR3 and it would only run Far Cry 2 and Crysis at reduced resolution like 1360x768 with low to medium settings and no aa enabled. The HD4850 1gb blows the HD4550 512mb away, and I even attempted crossfire with 2 HD4550 card which was a very good price range upgrade and gave 40% gains and 3dmark05 of 9500, but the HD4850 1gb is nonetheless faster and has lots of raw processing power and allows you to game at 1080p with aa enabled.Card does show M98 (mobile 4850) in GPU-Z but from what I can decide the only difference was reduced clock rate of 500mhz and help for 1gb DDR3 and is newer develop date than the RV770 4850 512mb. This card is clocked at 625mhz core and 993mhz memory and has exact same quantity of stream processors as the RV770 but with 1gb DDR3, so I don't see how the M98 is a con.Technique spec:Asrock 870 Extreme3Amd Athlon two X3 435ʃ.5ghz4gb DDR3 computer-1600DVD burner1tb 7200rpm HDXFX HD4850 1gb DDR3Silenx EFZ-80HA2 CPU coolerHEC Blitz with
