XFX Radeon HD 5450 (Cedar) HD-545X-YNH2 Video Card
Cons:
-Dvi to VGA not included-Issues with Boxee when setting the resolution to 1080
Pros: -Low profile bracket fits nice in htpc case-Fanless video card makes it practical for htpc environment-HDMI connection for video and audio Comment:
Highly recommended if looking for a htpc video card to play h264 movies (both 720p and 1080p) smoothly. Also, this card specifically is better than others with respect to noise..absolutely no noise!! |

XFX Radeon HD 5450 (Cedar) HD-545X-YNH2 Video Card
Cons:
None
Pros: Sale/Rebate PriceVideo Decoding Comment:
This card is perfect for a budget HTPC, and second only to the 5570/5670 series as a pure HTPC card. Some reviews show that it doesn't hold up as well in heavily interlaced playback, but that's pretty negligible unless you're a really hardcore videophile. The sale price of this unit at $30 is less than half the price of the 5570/5670 at around $70, so it wins out there large.Standard HDMI, DVI, and VGA ports, with a nice addition of allowing you to replace the bracket in the back and replace the VGA port to save space if you have a small case.Passive heatsink means a bit more heat but a lot less noise. |

XFX Radeon HD 5450 (Cedar) HD-545X-YNH2 Video Card
Cons:
None
Pros: Low price, quiet, HDMI out, low profile bracket Comment:
Budget card perfect for an HTPC. Highly recommended for systems that will not be used for gaming. Lots of different outputs (DVI, VGA, HDMI) that will suit any monitor or TV. Low profile bracket ensures it fits in smaller HTPC cases. |

works well
Comment:
I am using this card to run my HTPC setup. No problems at all playing DVDs. I haven't tried blu ray yet, but do not expect any issues. I am not a gamer and my PC is not designed to be one, but I have tried Dragon Age with this card. It runs at full resolution without problems. |

Great Budget Workstation Card
Comment:
Bought one of these for a Workstation. Works great, Multi-monitor support is fantastic. Drivers worked great out of the box. Not a gaming card by any means, but perfect for workstaion or home theatre. |
obviously not a high end gaming video card but just a basic video card that can play HD video.
