XFX Radeon HD 7770 Core ED 1GHz 1GB 4.5GHZ GDDR5 DVI-DL HDMI Minidp PCI-E Video Card
Cons:-fan can be noisy, cannot replace heatsink without voiding warranty
Pros:-Price/performance ratio when on sale Comment:
This is a good card for HTPC plus some light gaming. Can support 1080p if details are turned down a little bit. The free games are a nice bonus but I already had them. My one complaint is that you cannot replace the heatsink with a better one without voiding warranty (sticker on the heatsink screws). The heatsink/fan gets noisy under load. |

XFX Radeon HD 7770 Core ED 1GHz 1GB 4.5GHZ GDDR5 DVI-DL HDMI Minidp PCI-E Video Card
Cons:Not great if you want to play most currently games on Ultra details o1080p. It can run at that level, but the experience will downgrade immediately to barely acceptable or even subpar satifactory. (only 128bit memory bus width, for better performance look for card with at least 192bit bus)The rebate process online is not intuitive, took a while to find the right rebate code for the card but after you enter the right code everything was a breeze. Also, the rebate comes in as a AMEX gift card and it will take 8-10 week to be mailed in.
Pros:Price - Got this card for $99.99 after a $20 mail-in rebate by XFX (back in early July).Performance per price - Getting a lot bang for the buck from this card(base on the sales price $99). Most current GPU demanding games you can play t1080p on high level settings with high frame rates.Quiet Fan & low heat - can adjust & limit the fan speed. At full load the core only topped at 61c (with fan limited spinning at 40% only! Very quiet can barely hear the fan at 40% as it sits on my desk 2 feet away.)Some overclocking capability (GPU core & Memory) & voltage/fan speed adjustment capability as well.Aesthetically good looking. Comment:
1080p on High settings with 40+ frame rate:MW4,Battlefield 3, Crysis 1&2, Starcraft 2 (WOL & HOTS), NBA 2K13, Chivalry Medieval Warfare, Warframe1080p on Med. settings with 30+ frame rate:Tomb Raider 2013, The last of us, Metro 2033, Metro Last NightI would rate this card as a mid-mid level gaming graphics card. It performs great for its on sales price but I would not buy at regular price. And don't expect the overclocking ability will boost this card to high-mid level. XFX Radeon HD 7770 Core ED 1GHz 1GB 4.5GHZ GDDR5 DVI-DL HDMI Minidp PCI-E Video Card
Cons:Not High-End and will be beat by many cards to come out
Pros:WarrantyPretty Quietbang for Buck Comment:
3rd XFX card I've bought, lifetime warranty is always a plus with them. Got it for $100 (w/ MIR + tax) so it was a good buy and hard to beat at this price point. Will do well for future gaming as it's a nice entry card for the current gen of games if you want something on a budget and can handle them decently. OC will void warranty I believe but it will make it last a little longer and maybe keep you going for next gen games with decent performance. |

XFX Radeon HD 7770 Core ED 1GHz 1GB 4.5GHZ GDDR5 DVI-DL HDMI Minidp PCI-E Video Card
Cons:Driver CD would not work...not a huge problem since catalyst driver can be found on the AMD site.
Pros:Bought this card on sale, $80 after MIR & tax. I don't really play graphic intense games plus this was for my first build so it was perfect for me. I get 83 fps on Diablo III with V-sync turned off. when it is turned on it drops down to 60 fps. The fan is super quiet. Comment:
THe XFX HD7770 takes up 2 slots so keep that in mind. I really like the look of the connections. |

XFX Radeon HD 7770 Core ED 1GHz 1GB 4.5GHZ GDDR5 DVI-DL HDMI Minidp PCI-E Video Card
Cons:Hate mail in rebate4rebate sucks, takes way too long if you even get it.
Pros:Great price on saleNice designQuiet and cool Comment:
Great price for $125, even better if I get the $20 rebate, may not happen or could take up to 1 year with them. The card is really quiet when running under 65% load. The fan stays around 35% with a temp. of 54C or so. This card will do more than what I will ever use it for, not much of a gamer. If I want to play games it will and its great in crossfire from what I have heard. I use it with eyefinity without a problem. This is the first video card I bought from XFX and will buy from them again. |

XFX Radeon HD 7770 Core ED 1GHz 1GB 4.5GHZ GDDR5 DVI-DL HDMI Minidp PCI-E Video Card
Cons:None
Pros:-Handles OC like a champ.-Picked it up for $89 after rebate-Low power draw-Fits smaller cases Comment:
I was originally looking at the 7770 DD (two fan) model, but it seems that this generally rates better (less moving parts?). No complaints at all, this runs the games I play (Rift, Planetside 2) at 60 FPS on medium settings. It runs cool under load, though the fan can get a bit load (more of a problem with the 2 fan model, I guess). The biggest benefit of this card is the Crossfire capacity - for $180 you could feasibly compete with cards in the $300 range. |

XFX Radeon HD 7770 Core ED 1GHz 1GB 4.5GHZ GDDR5 DVI-DL HDMI Minidp PCI-E Video Card
Cons:I wish you could 4 way crossfire but otherwise I don't have any cons
Pros:Small (fits in small form factor Pc's)QuietLow power consumption for the graphical powerNo compatibility issuesCan crossfireCheap considering the graphics it outputsAwesome WarrantyTemps get at max about 60-65C Comment:
I bought this card as a gaming card until I had saved up enough money for a 7970, or well at least until I wanted to spend the money. This card (7770) is a great card that isn't the most common, but I think it should be. This card is one of the last cards that is in the 100-150 dollar range. This card can play Dirt 3 with about 60+ fps on ultra (sometimes a little bit lower) settings. Minecraft (you don't need a very powerful card for this but whatever) I was getting the about 70-150 fps on all the best settings. Battlefield 3: I was getting about 40-50 fps on preset High and about 27-35 fps on ultra (which you can play on but not smoothly). I also tried Modern Warfare 3 and I was getting 60-80 fps. So I know people say this is a pretty mid range card (which it is) but it still plays all the current games and with the easy overclocking program AMD has it is a breeze to get slightly faster fps. But the warranty I believe doesn't cover when you are overclocking so be careful. I have gotten my XFX Radeon 7970 GHZ edition now and my 7770 is now in my media PC, I'm having a few compatibility issues but I think it's working fine now. From my limited experience with the 7970 (4 days so far) I have found that it is slightly over double the performance, but some games it does not have the graphics card running at 100%. So I say that this card is great for most current games and doesn't cost so much. You might want to go with the OC edition also because I believe that you can overclock it even more than this one if that is the type of thing you like. So yeah I guess what I'm trying to say here is that this is a great card ;) |

XFX Radeon HD 7770 Core ED 1GHz 1GB 4.5GHZ GDDR5 DVI-DL HDMI Minidp PCI-E Video Card
Cons:Heat sink could be better.
Pros:Good performer in it's price range. Comment:
Not a lot to say about this card. Bought it to go with an AMD motherboard. I prefer a quieter heat sink that exhausts out the back instead of into the case. The EVGA GeForce GTX 460 (my previous card) might be a better buy. |
I have enjoyed this Video Card, running along side my Phenom X4 965BE it let me play all the games such as Crysis 3 on 720 with all the settings on Ultra. If I get another and run Crossfire I am expecting to double my FPS. A good card at a good value. Most PSU's can handle this card as well. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is on a budget. You won't be disappointed.
