XION XON-HP9310P 3 Heatpipe CPU Cooler - Dual Heatpipe with HDT Technology, 90mm PWM Fan

Looks like a excellent item, Larger than I expected. However this did not function for my application with a Xeon 5600 series house. For these processors the thermal option mounts with screws rather the plastic clips/pins. Due to my inability to use I can't speak to any overall performance related troubles. |

It isn't as major as a breadbox. Like some that left me scratching my head, will it fit the situation, clear the memory, MB parts, or hit the best situation exhaust fans. Then theres the price that is a welcome back to reality for this item category. With so a lot of evaluations of folks useing shoe horns to get other coolers in or not being in a position to access all thier memory slots since the cooler covered them. It took me a lot of looking for a cooler that would be superior than stock and not a freak of an item when installed. This unit is a best fit and doesn't appear out of location installed. With the fan installed to the memory slot side there is clearance for circulation involving fan and memory and the fan does not cover any slots. On an AMD installation searching down on the cooler, for an instance of the coolers foot print, the square plastic retaining piece that holds the coolers on the MB can be noticed on all four sides devoid of the fan installed. I've noticed typical ten+ degree difference from stock. None, but a led fan alternative would be great. If your searching for better than stock but have been put off by the shear size, price tag, or the lack of a pwm fan of some coolers, this is the a single for you. It has a 4 prong MB adjusted pwm fan just like a stock cooler. The fan isn't any louder than my situation fans that are not at all noisey. A second fan can be added and mounts are supplied. I would say that there isn't an ATX or MATX or motherboard that this cooler wouldn't fit, a good stock replacment item. I only wish they would state the weight of these coolers as there is a MB limit. I am positive it's pushing the limit, but my guess is that this a single is lighter than a lot of the others. This is not a prime heavy a single and that's another plus and one thing to maintain in thoughts. |

Running my Intel 250k chip 17deg C cooler under full load vs the stock cooler.Great price. -Difficult to install on the Asus P64 Sabertooth MOBO simply because of the thermal armor taking up space-Loud under full load (but what 92mm fan wouldnt be?) |
Colorful, good size, effectively engineered copper pipes and aluminum fins; goes on rapidly and without having considerably work; moves a lot of air. The fan on this particular unit vibrated and was very noisy. In truth, I have a five fan Lian Li case and all 5 of these fans Ɣ-120s and 1-140) are quiter than this cpu fan. Due to the fact I like the design and style, I'm going to acquire a decent 90mm fan for this unit and attempt it once more.
