Comment:
Quite quiet, only noise is from the airflow and absolutely nothing from bearings or fan blades. Can't hear them with the side cover on my case. Superior airflow for the rpm and noise level. White light illuminates my case nicely, and it is really white... not a blueish tint. Sleeved cable is appreciated as properly. - Newer model compared to the CLF series. Very good if you want a transparent frame. |

Somewhat loud at full speed, with a fan controller and about 3ǚ speed it just makes a nice woosh which is only a little over the ambient noise in my living room. Moves a lot of air at full speed, drastically more than the Coolermaster fans that came with my Storm Sniper case.Impressive brightness from the LED's, here's hoping they last a lengthy time. None so far. Not an concern with the fan itself, but I originally bought them to install on the side of my Cooler Master Storm Scout. Apparently the engineers at Coolermaster didn't believe to check the turbulence effect their side window would cause. Installing these fans on there sounded like a leaf blower and a hair dryer making really like.To resolve the challenge I went out and purchased a couple of aluminum mesh type fan filters which fixed about 80% of the turbulence concern. I also bought a fan controller to lower the speed a little. Now they are almost silent. If you are a Storm Scout owner and this is your application, you are going to Need fan filters to solve the turbulence concern. |

-120mm White LED-Cables came sleeved-Decent cable length-Moves alot of air, excellent fan-Lowered CPU temps a few far more degrees (see other thoughts) Not a con, but a "meh" : USPS 4-7 day egg saver shipping, came in 7 days. I'm too hopeful for speedy shipping i guess :P. Also most likely my fault for ordering on a tuesday.oh and just be aware, comes in a huge padded envelope, not a box. Again, not a con as it arrived fine, just FYI Ordered for use as a second fan on a Coolermaster Hyper 212 Plus. Worked just fine with the extra hardware that came with the cooler to mount a second fan for the push/pull setup. As it should.I did not make use the molex adapter, just utilized one of the three-pin fan connections on my gigabyte motherboard. May well be nice to have in the future. All in all, i required an extra 120mm fan for my cooler, but wanted some light in my case. Thought fairly a bit about the LED color, decided on white. Considered the XLF series since of the quite a few positive reviews, but saw this CLF series, and decided I wanted brighter, and this thing is Vibrant. Go with XLF if you want not as vibrant.Added to my cooler, lowered idle temps 2-3 degrees, desktop and world wide web multitasking temps four-five degrees, prime95 load temps four-5 degrees. Max temp now hovers in between 46-47C, Phenom II x4 955 BE oc'd to three.6. Case is an Antec 300 IllusionThink i need to choose up a fan controller soon... |

Xigmatek CLF-F1254 White Crystal LED Cooling Fan 120X120X25MM
Cons:
- None so far
Pros: - Good air flow- Sleeved wires- Moderately quiet (compared to my TT fans)- Subtle white LED glow Comment:
Works great. Moves good airflow, the white LED has a subtle glow. Not a concentrated light like some LED fans. So its not blinding. |

Xigmatek CLF-F1254 White Crystal LED Cooling Fan 120X120X25MM
Cons:
None really.
Pros: Pushes very good amounts of air, pretty much silent given you set it up properly in BIOS/software, really nice LED backlight (thought now I see my poor cable management :D) Comment:
Great fan for a good price (after PM or at NCIX events). Good selection of LED colours is also quite nice :) |
- Affordable- High airflow- Quiet- Sleaved Cables- Comes with four screws and molex adaptor- Operates effectively with fan controllers - None that I can consider of I have 3 ƒ from Newegg, 1 from someplace else) of these fans in my Antec 902 situation. They replaced 3 of the older model Xigmatek XLF-F1254 fans, and the newer model CLF fans are a lot quieter and blow much more air than the XLF series (specs indicate 61 CFM vs 68.33 CFM). They are much brighter than the XLF series due to the totally transparent frame and blades, I guess this could be a plus or minus based on your preference.
