Yate Loon D14SM-12 140MM Quiet Cooling Fan 1400RPM 62CFM 29DB 3PIN & 4PIN Sleeve Bearing OEM
Cons:none at this point
Pros:Silent enought Comment:
I bought this fan as a spare cooling device for my antec 300. At this moment you don't have many options for a 140mm fan. I just mounted it into the case and gave it a try. It gives a good airflow and is quiet enought for my needs. Anyway the case i have has other fans.Reliability will be proven later but i trust yate loon. |

Yate Loon D14SM-12 140MM Quiet Cooling Fan 1400RPM 62CFM 29DB 3PIN & 4PIN Sleeve Bearing OEM
Cons:none
Pros:HUUUGEcheap Comment:
mounteed this into the clips on the bottom of the cm690, with it blowing air at my video card's intake fan (9800gtx - shorter cards may not have much benefit). I'm very pleased, it seems to have knocked a couple degrees off my gpu temp, and it didn't noticably increase my comps fan noise although I don't have a silent comp. Yate Loon D14SM-12 140MM Quiet Cooling Fan 1400RPM 62CFM 29DB 3PIN & 4PIN Sleeve Bearing OEM
Cons:No case screws, otherwise, none.
Pros:Quiet and efficient. Two different types of connectors (3pin & 4pin). Affordable. Comment:
I ordered three of these, and was pleased to find that they ran quieter than expected. I connected two to a fan controller, and mounted them in the empty drive bay. The third runs directly to the motherboard's 3pin connector. Combined, at full speed (~1400 to ~1500 RPM), these fans cool down everything very well. I'm hoping to order a couple more, and mount them wherever possible. This review was modfied by poster @ 06-20-08 08:41 AM |
They do exactly what they are supposed to- these things quietly (not silently) push a decent amount of air out of the top of my case. It's not a huge amount, but the tradeoff, as always is noise. Anyway, good fan if you have the space add them to cart.
