Pros:-Great performance (BF3, Diablo3, BF:BC2, TF2 All run smooth as butter)-Incredibly low power usage (170w tpd!)-Price v Performance there is not a card out there that is better especially at the price I got this for. The higher end ATI cards are not worth the price tag and use much more power and draw a lot more heat. Comment:
Managed to find this on ncix for $369.99 as a 'surprise deal' and decided to jump the gun. The last sale I saw for a gtx670 was for the evga ftw edition for $349.99 but was sold out within minutes. Decided the reference vs aftermarket cooling solution was not worth the price difference as most reviews barely showed much of a worthwhile difference.I am using a smart power 500w power supply that is nearly 6 years old having 36a combined 12v and does not have any issue running this card with a phenom ii 955 be. Basically bought this to run bf3 on ultra (which would basically run any other game released atm) and does so without dropping below 45fps stock clocks c 1680*1050. |

I already had an HD7970 but I needed a smaller card to build a tiny media center PC. This card performs at the same level in BF3 while being half as big and using less power. From an AMD fanboy; Good job nVidia! Luckily I have no intention of using the stock cooler/fan cause it's a loud POS.... |
This card has fully performed up to my expectations. I was initially gonna buy the cheaper Galaxy 670 on boxing day, but I decided to step-up and buy a zotac. I used to have an old zotac GTS250 which I OC'd to the max on a stock cooler and the thing never failed. It continuously ran between 70-90c for almost 2 years and never caved even though I abused it as I was looking for a reason to upgrade. I am hoping I get the same robustness from from my new 670!
