Cons:Instruction manual not very detailed. I hope I can help a bit with this regard, please see below.1- Make sure to put backplate at a bit of an angle to line it up with motherboard holes.2- Make sure when inserting "the retention clip into space between retention clip and pump", the ring is not loose. It must make a clicking sound and become snugged so when want to put it on the CPU it does not come off. (I had to use a tweezers to manually put the fins behind the retention clip so it clicked and was tightly attached)

Cons:The instructions were confusing and the installation was a bit challenging, the fan is a little bit louder but much better than the reviews out there say it is.
Pros:The temps were lowered substantially, before I was idling at about 43 degrees and maxing out at about 67 degrees Celsius. With this product I am idling at about 35 degrees Celsius and maxing out at about 56 Celsius. Comment:
Over-all very good product, if you're looking for a closed loop solution LOOK NO FURTHER (especially with the sale 69.99 instead of 89.99). The stock fan is much quieter than any other closed loop solution out there. The temperatures are MUCH lower, but please TAKE YOUR TIME ON THE INSTALLATION. |

Cons:I read complaints before about the installation prior to purchasing this but i saw this on sale so i figured what the hell. So i guess there was a reason for the sale...the backplate is defected or just stupidly made because no matter how many ways i place those little screws it still doesn't fit my Asus p8p67 mobo!! I had to force it to fix, now my back plate is curved up just so the pins will line up to my mobo....
Pros:Brought my temps down nicely!! I was getting 75C - 80C, with stock fan, from just video converting OR a full virus scan before. After installing it I ran both things at once and only got a max temp of 54C. This thing is pretty good so far.....but..read con...my specs -- i7 2600k, 16gb corsair vengence RAM, kingston hyper X 128 SSD, 1 tb WD black, antec 900-2 case. Comment:
Overall, this cooler will do the job but just BUYERS BEWARE, you might get a defective backplate!!Just some extra info for anyone with same case (Antec 900-2) as me cuz i couldn't find any reviews about that.The radiator had to be placed upwards(hose either at the top or bottom position). Also the Antec 900-2 back fan cannot be replaced so u will have to put the radiator right over the existing back fan which is fine, then you can put the Zalman fan on top of the radiator (sandwich it) or not, i had extra fan space on my case so i use it elsewhere. |

J'ai acheté ce cooler pour mon setup de gaming, il s'installe très facilement pour le socket 2011, car il n'as même pas besoin de backplate. Cependant, chose étrange le connecteur trois pin ne donnait pas assez de courrant pour faire marcher la pompe, je l'ai donc connecter dans un 4 pin et il s'est mit à fonctionner adéquatement. Il tiens la température à 34 dergé en général et 45-50 à 100%, c'est bien mais je m,attendais tout de même a mieux! |
-My CPU stress test temps on Intel Extreme Tuning Utility went from 63C max on stock Intel cooler to 43 max on Zalman cooler, which is incredible improvement. (I should mention that I added another fan, and I ran it in dual fan push-pull mode.-My only concern is that the water in the closed loop may evaporate after some time (could be years). Let's see.
