If you bought a 9500, 9700 or 9900 CPU cooler before they added support for the 1156/1155 chips, this is the perfect way to extend the life of your cooler. While I wouldn't use those coolers in an overclocking situation on the newer CPUs, it can certainly allow you to repurpose an older cooler. |

I really thanks Zalman to support older product for new socket. It's not in the description but it's compatible with 1155 socket.I'm using this with a 4 year old CNPS-9700 Blue led cooler and it rocks. Could running my Overclocked E8400 without the fan at 47C load. Now, I can do the same with my 2500k OC to 4.5Ghz but you need a good top airflow like an Antec 900. |
fits my motherboard perfectly, and this clip seems easier to install then the one that came with the cooler. Also comes with some zalman thermal paste.Its great that i get to reuse my old cooler as it still works flawlessly
