Cheap Did not work. Really disappointed to find out that it does not operate for my CNPS7000A on ASUS P7P55D EVO socket 1156.I don't know why they list the 7000 models in the specs as supported.

Simple to set up, they supplied all the correct screws and nuts. None! Upgraded my Pentium D to an i5-750 - employed my current CNPS9500ALED with the new clip. Processor is cool and running about 25-30C. Stock speeds.

nothing at all fancy here...it operatesMobo: MSI p55-GD65 I want to get two more sticks of memory, but I'm not confident I will be capable to get a G-skill ripjaw into the initially slot... I didnt take an egg for this, that is more due to the actual heatsinkI did take a single egg off due to lack of directions, and not supplying an extra plastic 'washer ... I believed it came 1 short, but I did discover it ultimately (in the bag lol) it's a mounting bracket, what else is there to say?

Best fit on a sandy bridge. Bracket was easy to install. None Simpler to install than the native clip for a 775 on a 9700 cooler. I installed on a asus P8P67 Deluxe board rev three. Enjoy the fact that my older zalman 9700 cools a sandy bridge cpu 2600k as properly if not better than on a former 9650 C2Q cpu. Adapts perfectly.

Straightforward, high high quality material. In most instances, you have to take your mobo out in order to install it. I have to admit that it is hardly Zalman's fault. It is just the way it is. Cheapest jump from old 775 clip assistance (which doesn't in fact operate with 1156) to 1156.

Bracket worked perfectly for my Zalman 9700 NT CPU cooler. I had it on an older LGA775 and upgraded to an i5, which this was perfect for. Attached the exact same way as just before. Installation of bracket is slightly difficult with trying to hold each sides of the motherboard. Attempting to hold the bracket in place with screw and then screw on a nut behind it can be difficult. Only ŭ? Totally worth it over obtaining a new cooler. Especially with a fairly high-priced CPU cooler that I didn't want to throw away!

looks nice. could save dollars if worked with old zalman HSF, like my ancient 7000 series. 1. pricey shipping - 1 egg2. doesn't fit on 1156 for my 7000 - the clip is too high and the sink cannot be tightened, so the 7000 swings back and forth - two eggs3. missing parts as other mentioned - 1 eggTotal minus : 4 eggs. am I fair? Don't obtain it for your CNPS 7000. it has challenge with 1156 socket.

Operates fine with my 9500 AT, Core i7-870, and Asus P7P55D-E Pro mobo. Glad I didn't have to toss a perfectly great cooler. None.

Inexpensive. Excellent for a CNPS9500 going on a GA-P55-UD3L. It comes with thermal paste. None The stock backplate is no longer applied.

As opposed to other people, I had no troubles installing this. No incompatibilities or misfit situations here. It went together nicely and didn't take significantly time at all to install. Read Other Thoughts. I've identified that, although this item works, you ought to keep in mind that your older heatsink fan may or might not be the finest suit for a newer processor (like the i7). I went from 6600 with CNPS9500 and despite the fact that the temps rest low, the shoot up speedily below load (unlike the q6600). Think this probably has to do with the thermal design in that i7's move from low to high and back considerably quicker than c2q's do.Cooler would be okay with out overclocking, but with it, it gets too hot. And at this point, it would be no diverse than utilizing the stock cooler. Only reason I'm giving it a 4Ǜ.

Fit perfectly. Did not want a back plate on my 1155 board/chip combo, working with Zalman 9700. None. I have a Zalman 9700, It is from approx 2008. Althought it has a really similar maount bracket in it that worked for a 775 chip, the bolt pattern is extremely slightly bigger for the 1155 chip. Check to see if your Zalman bracket is slotted or a basic bolt hole, if not slotted, purchase 1 of these to mount the 9700 on a 1155 board/chip.

I have bought a few of these clips for builds in the last year. I got the 9500 this time. It did not say for sure if it came with the 1156 clip so I got 1 just in case. The Zalman had 1. Oh well I have one for another create. Make certain to have the bracket with the inside equal to the clip of the mother board. There is a round notch that the lever arm need to pull back into. Other wise men and women will have to redo it. I would like to see a little far better documentation on the clip. I have no challenge figuring out, but beginners may well. I actually like this clip them some of the older clips that came with the Zalmans. I like how they hook up individually in the back instead of trying to balance a 4 prong backing.

I bought a Zalman Cu7000 for my 939-based method various years ago. I ordered this along with my Core i5 program so I could use my old Zalman to replace the stock heatsink. Installed somewhat effortlessly (see below), works great. The original screws that held down my Zalman in the 939 bracket are distinct from the threads on this bracket. I'm glad that I happened to have compatible screws in my odds & ends collection. The Cu7000 is three-wire, so it runs at 100% speed all the time, doh.

I picked one of these up for about four bucks, after instant rebate, to adapt one of my coolers to socket 1156. The cooler had been installed on a socket 775 board, also using an adapter, but that one was for socket 775 only. The previous adapter was a little more impressive, as it was made of anodized aluminum, while this one is polycarbonate. However, it does the job, and for four bucks it is hard to complain much.

So I needed to buy this as I lost my nuts and bolts for my zalman 9500 heatsink. Found this and it really came in handy. It is really simple to install, and looks durable. Hopefully I don't lose them again in the future.

Recycled an old 7000 cooler to LGA1156 Core i3 530, Gigabyte P55M-UD2 htpc box, in an Aspire cube matx. Cooling keeps up fine, even overclocked and quiet using the fan controller!

Reusing my CNPS9500 for a Gigabyte P55-UD3R; this made it easy...good, sturdy material...a nice solution to forking out $30+ on a new heatsink...;)

This bracket is the right one for the stock ZM-WB5 cpu waterblock (WB-5 comes included with the Zallman LQ1000 water cooling case). You need a different bracket for the ZM-WB5-plus waterblock.Installation was straightforward. It looks like the clips on top of the waterblock will never bend enough to go flat, but they do. All in all, a really nice design that holds the waterblock right up tight against the CPU chip.
