chunky (big) and not quiet!
Pros: Nice finished look, good airflow, no LEDS, mounting system and high quality black sleeving on the cable. Comment:
This is a good addition to ram if you do not have good airflow in your case. However, mine has a whining noise while in operation no matter if its in low or high speed. Low speeds will have a lower pitched whine and as you increase speed it gets louder and louder (using a fan controller or the included resistor). |

- POOR QUALITY fans- very loud fans, my bearings make A LOT of noise- very difficult to mod for use with aftermarket fans due to mounting style

Well this is simple. After a few days the fans started to make a lot of noise, screeching sound as if there was no lubricant on the bearing. I would NOT recommend this unit to anyone. It moves good air, it is compact, it comes sleeved... but the quality of the fans makes it a waste of money. I will probably try to mod aftermarket fans but it looks difficult to do since the holes are not all exposed.Sorry Zalman you really disappointed me this time. |

have buy this to replace the ram cooler that came with my corsair dominator kit and the zalman move more air is way more silent (after 2 weeks corsair 1 fans was screaming) and it looks better and keeps ram more cooler |
i buy corsair model 2 time and both after 4 month ....and now!! better cooling and !! still working realy glad for that!!
