Zonet ZFS3216P Network Switch - 16-Port, 10/100Mbps

I bought one of these Zonet 16-port switches. I plugged in my 16 devices, conected the power supply, the power light come on, but it did not work. Tried replugging it again (there is no reset or power button)and nothing. Went and bought a D-Link 16-port, plugged in my 16 devices, powered up, and it worked fine. I think this switch cannot candle 16 devices or I got a lemon.

Comment:
Setup consisted of plugging in the cables to my various devices. It worked immediately and transparently. My home/office network includes two Vista and one XP computer plus one network-attached color laser printer. This switch is attached to the router which goes to a satelite modem. Now I can expand to another 11 devices. If you need a lot of Ethernet ports, this is a low cost way to acquire them. It allowed me to retire an ancient hub that sometimes fouled the system.

This unit is replacing my 5 port switcher. I just removed my old one and plugged all my computers and dsl into this one. It detected all of them and in less than 5 minutes my network was up and running. Can't ask for more than that. Thanks for the fast shipping.
