iPhone 5 Power & Data Cable
Cons:After careful use and little movement, the small end now has exposed wires where the wire attaches to the small part (thunderbolt side?). It's cheaply built and will probably start to fray in a few days and will need to be thrown out.
Pros:Cheap when on sale, works like the Apple product. |

iPhone 5 Power & Data Cable
Cons:No longer works.
Pros:Looks like a quality cable Comment:
Started out impressed with the build quality of the cable, but after not using the cable for the past 2 weeks (just left it plugged in) I tried to use the cable to sync my phone, and it no longer works. Won't charge either when plugged into wall adapter. |

iPhone 5 Power & Data Cable
Cons:none
Pros:Inexpensive Comment:
Great deal for this product. I don't see any obvious difference between this and the Apple $21 cable. Not about to cut open the cable to look inside, though. |
Was happy until the wire became exposed on the small end (thunderbolt side?). I can see the wires under the rubber coating and it does not look like it will last much longer.I heard this happens often, even with careful use. This has only sat on my desk and I plug the iPhone in and leave it, no moving or anything.I will have to put some electrical tape on to see if that helps.Would only buy when on sale, I don't like throwing away $10 every month.
