An excellent portable scanner powered by USB and scans to PDF or image formats. Evernote is touted on the box and on an insert  but I had to manually set it up as an application to send the scan to in CaptureOnTouch. Once setup, it is quick to scan and send to Evernote as PDF. Included PaperPort 11 software seems to offer no advantage over Canon's software and no OCR (says it requires OmniPage). Uninstalled it and just use CaptureOnTouch.CaptureOnTouch Lite is built into the scanner when connected via USB (appears as a separate drive letter). The non-lite version only ships on the included CD and no sign of any updates or download on the Canon web site. Also, no PDF downloads on the Canon web site and again, only on the included CD.Overall, few complains and runs great once you get it setup.
