Cons:No media keysHeat can be a problem
Pros:Build qualityGreat specificationsQuiet |
I've used many different low-end spec brand notebooks, Dell, Acer/Gateway, Compaq/HP, and MSI. Between all of them, I have to say Lenovo has the best build quality of these brands. I chose Lenovo this time because I knew they were fairly new in the business and I figured I'd give them a try. I impressed so far. The price for the specs is great, beating out MSI. It's even quiet during normal use and light gaming, but once you get into the more intensive games it can heat up, which makes it a little louder than normal. The one gripe I have about this specific notebook, is they did not include media keys. This is a "multimedia notebook". It's a shame they couldn't think of that before they released the notebook; but like I said above, they are new in the business.Saying all this, I haven't had the chance to contact Lenovo support, so I have no comment on that. Which is a good and bad thing. If Lenovo keeps this up, they have a great brand going for them.
