Good when you desperately need a connector for a video card and there is none on the power supply. Don't forget to check your power supply can power the video card.

This adapter cable works great if you want to upgrade to a video card that needs two power connections but your power supply only has one. Just make sure the power supply is powerful enough.

grabbed one of these for an older power supply that has enough 12v amps, but only 1 pci-e connector, adapters are fine if you have a capable power supply, dont expect this to make a 150w no-name psu run a video card
