nGear Flash Card Reader 3.5IN Internal USB Black CF/SD/MMC/MS/XD with Front SATA & USB
Cons:~expensive
Pros:~works~decent quality Comment:
I only tried the USB and micro SDHC. Both of these works as advertised although the chip has to be inserted upside down in order for it to work.I installed it in my 3.5" with no problems and the quality is decent. Try pricematching to save yourself a few bucks (40% less). |

nGear Flash Card Reader 3.5IN Internal USB Black CF/SD/MMC/MS/XD with Front SATA & USB
Cons:Other people rated this poorly
Pros:e-SATANot installed upside-down (man that's annoying) Comment:
I have had no issues with this card reader. It was installed when I got my PC so I don't know how easy the install is, but I can tell you that it works... At least the USB 2.0, the micro SD, and standard SD... |

nGear Flash Card Reader 3.5IN Internal USB Black CF/SD/MMC/MS/XD with Front SATA & USB
Cons:red power led
Pros:pricefits many cards1 extra usb 2.0 Comment:
Price matched. Wanted a cheap card reader. Fits many different cards and also has 1 usb and 1 esata on it. Did not have any trouble with it so far. Only thing I don't like is the red power led but its not that big of a deal I guess just don't see the point in it. |

nGear Flash Card Reader 3.5IN Internal USB Black CF/SD/MMC/MS/XD with Front SATA & USB
Cons:
Won't copy some of my files
Pros: Looks niceblack Comment:
I don't know why but when I go to put some files on my micro sd card this reader simply won't transfer the files it just sits there and does nothing. First I thought my sd card had kicked the bucket but I tried putting the card into my mp3 player because it has a micro sd slot in it and it worked fine. So I spent 2 or 3 hours trying to figure out what was going on. Do not buy this product even if its on sale. Get something else. |

nGear Flash Card Reader 3.5IN Internal USB Black CF/SD/MMC/MS/XD with Front SATA & USB
Cons:
-sd card reader died within a week
Pros: -sdhc support-looks nice, extra usb is handy Comment:
This was great while it lasted. Unfortunately the sd reader died on me after only a week(of course i tried all the tricks but the reader is simply dead). Sent a email to Ngear and they respond a few days later stating that NCIX covers the warranty for it. Reading around; I found a lot of this happening to these units and decided against returning it as it seems like more trouble than its worth for such a small item that is more than likely to fail again. I can't recommend buying this unless you don't need the sd card reader. |

nGear Flash Card Reader 3.5IN Internal USB Black CF/SD/MMC/MS/XD with Front SATA & USB
Cons:
cheap build quality, cable too short
Pros: inexpensive, SATA support Comment:
Bought this for about $10 (price-matched). Build quality seems rather cheap/flimsy, but for the price I'm not complaining, as I just wanted an internal card reader to install inside the case facing the front panel for convenience of easy access to SATA port.So far it reads every card I've placed into it. Would consider buying again if needed. This review was modfied by poster @ 05-17-10 12:08 AM |

nGear Flash Card Reader 3.5IN Internal USB Black CF/SD/MMC/MS/XD with Front SATA & USB
Cons:None
Pros:works good. Comment:
SD cards do not fit correctly and do not come up same as micro SD, esata doesnt work, and sata works sometimes Edit, after reading a few reviews, SD cards have to be inserted backwards, after doing this they now work.I was also able to get the esata port to work, not doing anything different then before so I am not sure how it just started working. nGear Flash Card Reader 3.5IN Internal USB Black CF/SD/MMC/MS/XD with Front SATA & USB
Cons:Same SKU, different product. Can't push TF too far in or else it fails to read. Need to push only halfway in.
Pros:Supports SDHCeSata/Sata Comment:
Contrary to what some people say, it does support SDHC.On the first one I bought, everything was working great save for the TF reader; I have to slowly push the TF card inside until the light goes on, because pushing it too far in disconnects it from the contacts inside. My biggest qualm though, is that when I placed an order for another one, I got an entirely different product. It has everything but the CF card reader, AND it looks entirely different, and it took a while to return to NCIX because the SKU numbers are exactly the same. For inconsistencies in the product, I cannot see myself purchasing one again until I can be guaranteed that it is the one in the picture. |

nGear Flash Card Reader 3.5IN Internal USB Black CF/SD/MMC/MS/XD with Front SATA & USB
Cons:- Probably no SDHC support- cables MUCH too short
Pros:- Has almost all the connections one would want Comment:
I assumed any modern reader would support SDHC when I ordered this, but from the discussions it seems it doesn't. That means it's already obsolete. I don't have a HC card to test it with. The cables are also so short (35 cm) that they won't reach in many larger cases. |

Cons:-metal clip in e-sata loose
Pros:-2 e-sata and 1 sata power Comment:
My only complaint is the metal clip in the e-sata port was pulled out along with the sata cable. Seems kinda flimsy to me. |

nGear Flash Card Reader 3.5IN Internal USB Black CF/SD/MMC/MS/XD with Front SATA & USB
Cons:some quirkyness with USB 2.0 functionality. Didn't ship with SATA power cable, MS must be inserted upside down
Pros:cheap, SATA, USB, and card reader all in one Comment:
all in all a good product. Mine was missing the SATA power cable, but NCIX shipped me one at no cost. At first it wouldn't work at USB 2.0, but somehow the issue resolved itself. meh, i'm happy |

nGear Flash Card Reader 3.5IN Internal USB Black CF/SD/MMC/MS/XD with Front SATA & USB
Cons:eSATA doesn't work.Cables too short.
Pros:Plethora of input slots. Comment:
Bought this for an Antec 300 case and found that the included cable was too short to reach the problem connector headers on the motherboard. Also, a great disappointment was the disfunctional eSATA port on this. Would've been nice to have an extra eSATA port on the front for easier access instead of reaching all the way to the back of the case to access the motherboard eSATA port. It does have a lot of inputs for flashcards and these do infact work, so no complaints there. |

Cons:3 cables to connect on MB.
Pros:Tons of connectivity Comment:
This little unit is excellent. It has tons of support for memory cards, but also has eSata and regular sata and power right on the front including a power cable for a sata drive. |

nGear Flash Card Reader 3.5IN Internal USB Black CF/SD/MMC/MS/XD with Front SATA & USB
Cons:The 9-pin USB header cable is a bit short and so are the E-sata cables.
Pros:Works with SDHC and is easy to setup. Great price for what a multi-card reader. Comment:
I'm really happy with the product. Very good price and it fits in a 3.5 inch bay. I would definately recommend this product over others because it supports SDHC. Much better that this card reader http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=21448&vpn=NG-35INT-BK-CR&manufacture=nGear%20Technologies%20Inc. because it include E-sata and SDHC compatibility. |

nGear Flash Card Reader 3.5IN Internal USB Black CF/SD/MMC/MS/XD with Front SATA & USB
The flash reader is usefull for most of commun use. For the price I paid ($8.67 with price check), I don't really care if it'll broke one day. The quality isn't good as I thought. Recommended only if you don't mind to spend a little for this.
