I bought this specifically for the Sata style cable since my original iPhone cables broke off on each end. It still works but stops charging when cable is moved. The flat cable on this one should prevent that from happening again. Cable feels more sturdy compared to oem standard. The connectors are covered in soft rubber so time will tell if it will crack open like some cheap alternatives out there. The center area of the cable is still bent and wont stay flat from the way they packaged it but its an easy fix.
