I found that it was long enough and the locking mechanism is a great feature to have on a sata cable , you dont want that to be the problem your looking for when you are having problems. just one less step

I bought this sata cable for my logisys acrylic blue case. The cable will looks a little bit pinky under uv light but it is a nive touch if you want to have UV cables. I would recommend to get a longer cable tough, because this one is a little bit short (you must have your hdd sata connectors next to the drive, or you won't be able to plug it in)I recommend those cables!

what can i say it works. the locking thing is nice IMO.but id say this one is more of a UV salmon color kinda ugly with out uv light on it but in my case it looks ok.

I thought these would fit in my tight HTPC case, but 10 inches length is a very close fit for the optical drives and no chance of reaching the hard drives. If the back of your drives is located near the motherboard, no problem, but if not, get something longer as you can always coil the excess. I don't have UV lighting, so the pink/orange cables are pretty hideous.
