I use this extension along with my Sata to USB adapter for running virus scans on a customer PC across the room when I can't be bothered to extract the HDD. The female end worries me as its build quality is far from solid, but no problems yet, just make sure your connection is in there tight. Wouldn't use this as a dedicated cable for anything, but it goes well in my toolbox. |

I ordered 2 of these 1 cable was completly use less the pins within the female end were pushed in and bent up making it impossible to have a connection. and then on the other cable the female end is too lose and whatever is plugged into is can wiggle side to which causes a lose in connection. |
I wanted to have an extension cable so I could use my gaming keyboard from a distance, like when I'm on my treadmill playing a game or surfing the net.I bought two since I got them price matched, so I have an extra one if I need it.
