nGear USB3.0 to SATA/IDE Drive Adapter 2.5/3.5/5.25IN Drives w/ Power Adapter
Cons:Adapter wire blocks The molex connector, they put the 3.5" IDE connector on the wrong side!
Pros:Price matched for under 20 bucks. |
One big flaw in the design, the data cable from the Adapter blocks The molex connector when used on a IDE 3.5" desktop drive. So you'll need a Molex Male to Female Power Extension, one with a flexible wire. Molex power supply wire is stiff & sticks out to far & pushes up on the USB drive adapter wire. It is good on other Drives. If you want you can go with the Vantec Nexstar Adapter for $10 more, Price Matched CB-ISATAU3. I got them both, I'd only use this nGear as a back-up or if I need 2 HDD's connected at once.
