nGear eSATA to eSATA Cable 3FT 7PIN
Cons:Why would there be a con?
Pros:eSATA is about more than twice real-world performance speeds compared to USB 2.0 when testing with standard mechanical HDDs that are capped at about 60MB/s transfer rate (Read). Considering USB 2.0 is capped at about 30MB/s. |

nGear eSATA to eSATA Cable 3FT 7PIN
Cons:Regular price is very high
Pros:Cable works Comment:
Generic eSata cable. It works fine. Only complain is that the regular price is too high. I was able to pricematch it for $3.50, which is more reasonable. |

nGear eSATA to eSATA Cable 3FT 7PIN
Cons:
Stiff cable
Pros: CheapWorks Comment:
This is your basic eSATA cable. Bought it to use with my Thermaltake BlacX dock (lost the cable). Works great with on my GA-MA785GM-S2H based system. The cable is a bit stiff but on the other hand it might mean it of high gauge. |

nGear eSATA to eSATA Cable 3FT 7PIN
Cons:
Way overpriced
Pros: It does it's jobmuch faster transfers than USB 2.0 Comment:
This cable does it's job just fine. I have no idea why it's $10, but since I couldn't find any locally, this was my best choice. |

nGear eSATA to eSATA Cable 3FT 7PIN
Cons:
A bit stiff and hard to bend
Pros: Good length, solid cable Comment:
It does the job ok but it is hard to turn and orient it different sometimes. Also, I guess eSata is not a perfect plug as even when firmly inserted, you still can wiggle the end of this cable side to side. I wasn't expecting that. |

nGear eSATA to eSATA Cable 3FT 7PIN
Cons:
- Expensive
Pros: - Works- Solid connectors Comment:
What can I say about this item? It's a cable... it works fine, although it it a bit expensive for the length ($10 for a 3 footer is a little expensive, but still cheaper than local computer store). Connectors are solid and it doesn't feel cheap. Never had problems with nGear and would buy again. |

nGear eSATA to eSATA Cable 3FT 7PIN
Cons:
price
Pros: Does the job Comment:
It's an e-sata cable so there is not a lot to say. It does the job with no problems. Solid connections. My only beef would be on the price. $10 for a 3 foot cable seems a little high, especially considering that the internal esata to sata bracket (with a failry long cable) only cost $7 |
I had an external HDD 320GB 5400RPM SATA2 that came with a USB 2.0 cable. 2 years back then, eSATA to eSATA cables were expensive but now a days, I found that eSATA to eSATA for less than 5$ so I decided to give it a try and got double the results (USB 2.0 at 30MB/s, eSATA at 60MB/s) well worth it, your wait times for transfers will be divided by two! And Video-Streaming, if in HD (720P/1080P) and if played directly from an external hard-drive will give you smoother experience.
