nMEDIAPC Black HTPC 1080P Micro ATX Media Center / HTPC Case
Cons:- htpc cases are always so pricy it seems...- temps aren't the greatest
Pros:- build quality is acceptable- I like the click release front panel- it looks great- fits atx power supply Comment:
I like the case. Not all htpc cases have room for more than 2 internal hard drives. The interior design is quite clever the way the hard drive/optical drive assembly comes out of the chassis. Cable management is a challenge, but can be done. The fans that come with it are 80mm, but are quite slim so beware of that. The temps aren't the greatest, but if you have low power components to put in here it would be GREAT! The case looks great in a media center. |
The case looks great, it fits in very well with the rest of my AV equipment in my home theatre. I really like how the optical drive and media/usb ports are hidden by the front cover when not in use. However, you should be aware that the two included 80mm case fans are terrible. They're surprisingly noisy, and there's very little air flow. I could hold my hand in front of the fan and barely felt much air movement (and yes I was holding my hand against the correct side!) -- swap those out for some better fans, and the internal temperatures dropped significantly. With the fans swapped out, this case is pretty good!
