nMEDIAPC PRO-LCD Media Center Programmable LCD
Cons:Software somewhat old and buggyNo indication on module which was is up
Pros:Adds finishing touch to HTPC caseeasy to install Comment:
This is a must have for any users that have a supporting HTPC case. It is too bad that it was not included in the first place. The drivers and software have to be found on the web and are not included. There is no label which way is up to install the module as in installs both ways, so the fist time mine was upside down!! The instructions are not the best, but you can make do. |

nMEDIAPC PRO-LCD Media Center Programmable LCD
Cons:No drivers included in package, have to download from websiteInstructions are easy, but very broken english
Pros:Easy install in caseNice color (blue version) Comment:
Looks great in the media center and was easy to install (don't forget to remove the black tape). Blue version matches the lights on the rest of the case. |

nMEDIAPC PRO-LCD Media Center Programmable LCD
Cons:non
Pros:price match made it a great deal for my HTPC. LED display easy to read, modable for my needs Comment:
I just think This Kinda completes the look and feel of an HTPC. Other reviews here and elswhere were helpfull with getting it to work properly Like the views you can get out of it like song info and such. Like that it can fit 3.5 or 5.35 bays with an adapter. It's installed in a 1932 Victor E radio case. All the parts in this comp were chosen to help keep the original look of the radio. I've since picked up one more to balance out the look of it on face of the cabinet hoping to have each one display different things. Very hapy with product , would buy again if needed |

nMEDIAPC PRO-LCD Media Center Programmable LCD
Cons:Don't use the software supplied if you are using WHS 2011. Use a free program called LCD Smartie!
Pros:Great module, installs quickly! Shows what I program into it! Comment:
You can use the driver supplied, but then MS replaces it with a better one! Use the dll that LCD Smartie has on their website, http://lcdsmartie.sourceforge.net (here is the link to the dll http://downloads.sourceforge.net/lcdsmartie/lisvfd.zip?download )All in all, a great product! |

nMEDIAPC PRO-LCD Media Center Programmable LCD
Cons:No idea what color you will get, no indication which is the right way to mount the module without powering it
Pros:Fits in an nmedia HTPC enclosure, decently robust programming software Comment:
All in all, when price matched, this is a great little thing to have for your nmedia htpc chassis. It can be programmed to show numerous things and even at its basic date/time display, it server its purpose and its worth the money. |

nMEDIAPC PRO-LCD Media Center Programmable LCD
Cons:Readability (blue one).
Pros:Looks nice. Comment:
I bought one of these about a year ago for my HTPC. It is amber coloured and very easy to read. I was disappointed that it was not blue because the power and hdd LEDs in the case are blue. No big deal since it works. I bought as second one in December 09 for a Living Room PC. It is identical in size and shape. Even the product number is the same. It is blue, like I wanted in the first place. The blue is completely illegible from six feet away while the yellow one is legible from 10 feet away. Go figure? |

nMEDIAPC PRO-LCD Media Center Programmable LCD
Cons:Bad color design, had to read from the couch (10ft)
Pros:Perfect match for the HTPC-8000. Comment:
I love the idea, and although I haven't customized it yet it seems like a simple task. However the blue-on-blue was a bid idea for readability. Don't think you can customize colors, but other than that still a decent addition. |

nMEDIAPC PRO-LCD Media Center Programmable LCD
Cons:small, not totally necessary
Pros:Completes a media pc Comment:
Bought it for my media pc case, and it really completes the look, the software is flexible with no shortage of options. It's a minor gripe, but I have a hard time reading it from across the room, and it's not totally necessary. I consider it more of a cosmetic item than anything, that said, I wouldnt build another media pc without one |

nMEDIAPC PRO-LCD Media Center Programmable LCD
Cons:none so far
Pros:easy to install and can be programmed to display whatever you want. Comment:
Only complaint is that this doesn't come w/ a driver CD and that on nmedia website there is no link to the driver and the programming software.. you have to look at the manual to get the driver and software link. but once there at least their drivers are up to date...I guess another thing is that I wish had gotten a blue one instead of the green. nMEDIAPC PRO-LCD Media Center Programmable LCD
Cons:I got a green based LCD. There is no way to choose which one you are getting.Does not come with software and web links were down when I needed them. I hate to wait a few days, and nmedia did not respond to my emails.
Pros:Completes the look of your nmedia based HTPC Comment:
Support from nmedia is nonexistent. Download links for software were nonexistent.Overall it all works now, but it was a royal pain to setup. |

nMEDIAPC PRO-LCD Media Center Programmable LCD
Cons:display could be biggersoftware prevents computer from going into standby mode
Pros:software provides a lot of infowell integrated into Windows Media Center2 line display Comment:
This LCD screen completes a HTPC. The software provides a lot of functionality as it integrates very well with Windows Media Center. My only gripe is the software prevents the computer from idling so the computer doesn't go into standby mode when it should. Also the display could be bigger but maybe I'm sitting too far back in my living room. |

nMEDIAPC PRO-LCD Media Center Programmable LCD
Cons:-if you can get the blue one ( as the black on green is very hard to read from a distance if not impossible...)-pretty steep price for an LCD module...
Pros:-well it's an LCD that kinda looks neat with the matching 1000B Nmedia case-easy to install Comment:
nice little add-on to the Nmedia 1000B case, but pricey and hard to read from more then 1.5 m awaywhat else is there to say it's a nice looking toy... |

Easy to install, took less than 20 minutes. If you want to make sure you don't install it upside down, just make sure the writing on the back of it is facing the right way. Works great with XBMC using LCDProc, allowing you to customize it to output whatever information you'd like. Perhaps it's possible to reduce the contrast or something to make it a bit more easy to read, I haven't had the time to tinker with it yet to figure out how though.
