Terrain matters
Comment:
5 miles from SprintPCS tower, but there is a bluff in between about 15' high. Can see tower light at night. Can connect data, but voice drops out in 10 seconds even with 4 bars. Raising height of booster antenna 15' helped data reception, but voice is still inoperative. |

It works
Comment:
I live in a rural area and my cell signal dances between none to 1 bar. Works well in my truck. I used a AC to DC adapter and tried it inside my house. I put the antenna at the window. As long as my cell phone is within a foot or 2 of the pickup I get 5 bars inside my house. The cords are long so I can place the pickup just about anywhere in the room. I'm going to order an indoor system since I know it works well. |

Not what we expected
Comment:
We are working in a heavily treed area that also has hills and the booster didn't provide the service anticipated. |

zBoost YX230 Cell Phone Signal Booster
Comment:
The system works well but still need a booster antenna, if in heavly treed areas or hills. |
The YX230 when used in rural upstate NY offers marginal gain in cell signal. The product raised older ATT phone (non-smart) from 1 bar up to 4 bars if within a foot of receiver. However, did not do anything for an iPhone, even holding the receiver to the phone.
